Few things annoy me more than people drumming on their thighs to songs when they don’t have any rhythm… It’s like we’re not even listening to the same song, and something in me just cracks, I don’t even know. I just can’t handle it.

I would recommend doing your research before buying in to a lot of this “Save Planned Parenthood” media. I’ve heard that the reason the governments are cutting funding is because even though Planned Parenthood is labeled as a non-profit, it actually makes quite a lot of money off of abortions. A ridiculous amount, actually, hence why the government wants to cut their funding. It’s not like they’re trying to completely take away the company by taking away all it’s money. Planned Parenthood does just fine, and would probably do even better if they really did cut birth control (think of all the unwanted pregnancies…). Honestly, I don’t see why a non-profit shouldn’t pay more if it’s making excess money while getting tax breaks. Especially, when we’re trying to figure out how to fix all this debt.
I don’t see why cutting funding to an organization that provides health care would ever be the right way to fix debt… And why would we ever want to cut funding for birth control? I am just so confused by this. Cutting funding to Planned Parenthood only hurts the low-income women who often rely solely on Planned Parenthood for their medical care. Estimates predict that the funding cuts could leave over 350,000 patients without health services, not including those who would be affected by the the additional cuts being proposed in Pennsylvania.
Besides, the government isn’t even saving money by doing this; they’re redirecting the same funding to other hospitals and clinics that don’t provide abortions, which is just a part of a higher bullshit political agenda that, more than anything, hurts women who live in under-served areas without access to other providers of similar services.
Planned Parenthood is constantly under attack and it’s absurd.
